Cozy Cabin #7
This cozy cabin sits lakeside on a quiet cove along with other cabins on Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs, Arkansas. The fresh smell of cedar will invite you in when you open the door.
Sleeps 6 people with a king bed in the master bedroom and 2 full beds in the upstairs bedroom. The kitchen is fully stocked with cook top, stove, pots, pans, cast iron skillet, dishes, silverware, dishwasher, microwave, and fridge. Complimentary coffee, creamer, and sweetener are provided. There is also a charcoal grill at the cabin for guests to use. You will find a full-size washer and dryer with detergent if needed. Under the stairs is an antique chest with various games, puzzles, cards, and dominoes to help you reconnect with family and friends. Wi-Fi is available too! Password is on the Verizon box on the front window.
If you have younger kids, this is the cabin for you! There are school cafeteria like sectioned trays to eat on, a small table and four small chairs located under the stairs, a bucket full of crayons and coloring books, and a custom-made baby gate just for cabin #7! The gate can be added to the bottom of the stairs. Please be sure to request it if you'd like to use it during your stay. This is an optional item that is only set up upon request. (Please do not let your children swing or hang on the gate.)
Self-check in with keypad at the front door. A code specific for your visit will be given to you the day of your arrival.
Guests will have private access to the whole cabin. The beach and picnic areas are shared with other guests. To help with overcrowding, the cabin and common areas are for renters only.
Common area for cabins
The common area amenities include a sandy beach/swim area (bring your own beach towels), volleyball/badminton, fire pits (bring your own wood), horseshoes, basketball goal, picnic/patio areas, and boat launch. Fishing and kayaking from the shore are allowed.
When booking you agree to the following Common Ground Rules:
- Children must be supervised at all times on the property.
- No swimming after dark.
- The renter is responsible for the rented cabin and its contents and completely responsible for those persons he or she allows to enter the cabin. The renter agrees that the cabin be used solely for the recreational purposes and no illegal nor commercial or other activities shall be carried on. The renter and his or her guests must act in such a manner so as to not disturb the occupants of nearby buildings.
- The renter is responsible for ensuring the grounds and the cabin, as well as the furniture and accessories found therein, are kept clean. The renter must immediately notify the owner of any defect of which he or she is made aware in the cabin or on the grounds. The cabin and its furniture and accessories shall not suffer any further wear than that normally incurred through regular use. The renter will be responsible to return any items taken out of the cabin. They must return items back to the cabin before leaving. Examples include but not limited to: dishes, cups, towels, sheets, etc. The renter shall be responsible for covering the cost of repairing or replacing any part of the building, or any piece of furniture or accessory, that is stained, broken following abusive use, or other than normal use.
- The renter must not place anything in the sinks, toilets, or showers that could block the pipes. Should this occur, the renter is responsible for the cost of the repair.
- Fires outside the cabin may only be lit in designated areas. It is forbidden to cut down trees or branches to make a fire; only firewood provided, brought, or branches on the ground may be used for this purpose. There is no fireplace in the cabin, therefore, no fires allowed in the cabin.
- The owner shall assume no responsibility for any interruption of service (electricity, satellite reception, wifi, water) beyond their control. The owner shall not be held responsible for any damage, loss or theft of the personnel effects of the renter or of his or her guests.
- The owner shall not, at any time, be held responsible for an accident occurring on the grounds.
- NO parties or events.
- Maximum of 6 guests (ages 5and up). If more than 6 guests are staying in the cabin there will be an additional $50 charge per guest per night.
- NO pets. If pets are found to be in the cabin a $300 charge will be issued for each pet per night.
- NO smoking inside the cabin. If there is evidence of smoking inside the cabin, there will be a $500 charge.
